Product Description
The YBF series wind power box-type substation products are specially designed and developed by our company for wind power generation. The role of the box transformer for wind power is to step up the 0.69KV electric energy generated by the wind turbine to 35kV, and then transmit it to the wind farm booster station through underground cables or overhead lines. This prefabricated substation is a complete set of substation products reasonably combined with a booster transformer, high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchgear, power transformer, and other auxiliary equipment with the box body. Its product performance meets the requirements of the GB/T17467-2020 "High Voltage/Low Voltage Prefabricated Substation" standard. It is a new type of prefabricated substation developed for the special usage requirements of wind power generation, featuring strong integration, easy installation, short construction period, low operating costs, high structural strength, and strong corrosion resistance. The product is suitable for harsh natural environments such as beaches, grasslands, and deserts, and its performance meets the requirements of wind farms.
Overall Structure
The box transformer consists of a 40.5kV high-voltage switchgear room, a 0.69kV low-voltage switchgear room, and a 0.69/35kV booster transformer room. The transformer is connected to the high and low voltage switches through busbars or cables. The box body is generally made of high-quality steel plates treated with surface anti-corrosion and spraying, with insulation materials added in the middle to effectively ensure the normal operation of the temperature regulation system inside the box. Additionally, the box body material can also be made of anodized aluminum alloy plates or color steel composite panels.
The 40.5kV high-voltage switchgear room uses the XGN-40.5 box-type fixed high-voltage switch cabinet. Inside the cabinet, a 40.5kV high-voltage AC load switch-fuse combination device controls and protects the transformer. The 0.69kV low-voltage switchgear room adopts a cabinet structure. The lighting box on the low-voltage incoming line side provides lighting and control power for the box transformer. According to user requirements, it can provide monitoring parameters such as current, voltage, and switch status to the monitoring backend. The transformer room generally uses oil-immersed transformers, but epoxy resin cast dry-type transformers can also be selected according to user needs.
The primary main wiring diagram and internal layout plan are shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2.
Main Features of the Product

● The box body is treated with two coats of paint, providing good corrosion resistance and effectively preventing erosion by wind and sand
● The wind power transformer box body adopts a double-layer door sealing structure, and all door closures are sealed with sealing strips
● Ventilation openings are equipped with dust-proof devices to effectively prevent interference from sand, dust, rain, and snow to the wind power transformer
Structural Features of the Product
● The product is divided into four parts: transformer room, arrester and incoming line room, high-voltage operation room, and low-voltage room;
● The high-voltage side uses terminal type load switch with fuse protection, and the fuse is an integrated protective fuse;
● The load switch and fuse are installed in the transformer room, using the transformer's insulating liquid as the insulating medium and heat dissipation medium, resulting in a compact overall structure and good heat dissipation performance;
● The high-voltage side incoming and outgoing lines use high-voltage cable plugs or silicone rubber composite bushings;
● The conventional product's low-voltage side outgoing line uses direct outgoing lines, with customized low-voltage schemes according to user requirements;
● The box shell adopts a fully assembled structure, featuring small size, maintenance-free, and easy installation;
● Components operated inside the high-voltage room include: load switch, transformer tap changer, and protective fuse.

Normal Operating Conditions
● Operating ambient temperature: ambient air temperature does not exceed 45°C, and the average value measured within 24 hours does not exceed 35°C; minimum ambient air temperature is -30°C;
● Ambient humidity: daily average relative humidity does not exceed 95%; average water vapor pressure does not exceed 2.2kPa; daily average relative humidity does not exceed 90%; monthly average water vapor pressure does not exceed 1.8kPa;
● Altitude: ≤1000 meters;
● Earthquake resistance: horizontal seismic acceleration less than 0.4m/s²; vertical seismic acceleration less than 0.2m/s²; safety factor: 1.67
● Installation site without severe vibration, slope not greater than 3°
● Wind speed not exceeding 35m/s;
● Usage location: should not have conductive dust or corrosive substances harmful to metals and insulators, nor flammable or explosive hazardous materials.
