1. Overview
The HXGN15-12 type ring main unit is an indoor metal fully enclosed ring main switchgear for AC three-phase 10kV, 50Hz. It is suitable for use in distribution systems of industrial and mining enterprises, residential communities, high-rise buildings, and other places for receiving and distributing electrical energy. The load switch fuse combination device can interrupt the rated short-circuit current in one operation. The typical combination of the ring main unit generally consists of three basic units, assumed as units A, B, and C. Units A and C are cable incoming and outgoing units respectively, and unit B connects to the transformer, serving protection and isolation functions to facilitate maintenance and repair. When a fault occurs on any line in units A or C, it can be isolated promptly, and the other unit ensures continuous power supply to unit B.

● The ring main unit can be extended arbitrarily and can implement dual power supply.
● The ring main unit implements electromagnetic interlocking to ensure operational safety.
● The ring main unit can flexibly be equipped with CT and PT to achieve high supply and high metering.
● The ring main unit is equipped with a manual operating lever for manual operation and can be optionally equipped with an electric operating mechanism. The combination electrical cabinet can be used independently as a control device for electrical energy in 10kV, 50Hz power systems.
● The product complies with GB3906 "3~35kV AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear", GB16926, GB3804, and IEC298 standards.
